AI credits
Apps can call OpenAI and Anthropic models straight from your code with no keys to manage — usage is billed against your plan’s monthly AI credits.
- Every paid plan includes a monthly credit grant (from ~$5 on Basic up to ~$50 on Team Premium). Grants refresh each month.
- Need more? Buy credit top-ups from your billing page. Purchased credits stack on top of your grant and never expire.
- Prefer your own account? Add your own OpenAI or Anthropic key and those calls cost zero Cloudrizz credits.
Apps & usage
Every app ships with an included allowance. Pay only for what you run above it — the way the big clouds do it.
- Apps — every plan includes one app; each additional app is the same flat $5 / month on every plan. Add exactly as many as you need — your plan sets the shared limits, not an app count.
- Requests & storage — metered above each plan’s included amount: $0.50 per extra 1M requests, $0.05 per extra GB. No surprises, itemised on your invoice.
- Set an optional monthly spend cap if you want a hard ceiling — your call.
Team seats & guests
Team plans come with seats included in the base price; add more as you grow.
- Team Basic includes 3 seats, then $19 / seat / month. Team Premium includes 5 seats, then $29 / seat / month.
- Seats adjust automatically as you add or remove members — billing is prorated, no manual step.
- Guests are free. Invite a contractor or client to a single app — they see nothing else. You can add up to twice your paid seats as guests.
How billing works
Payments run through Paddle as the merchant of record — VAT, sales tax, and invoicing are all handled automatically.
Downgrade or cancel from your billing page. Paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period.
Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Move between Individual and Team as your needs change.
On a paid plan nothing goes offline — usage above an app's included requests or storage is metered ($0.50 / 1M requests, $0.05 / GB) and itemised on your invoice. Set an optional spend cap if you want a hard ceiling. Free apps pause at their cap until usage drops.
Questions
- Is there really a free plan?
- Yes — Individual Free is free forever, no card required. You get one app with a database, storage, auth, a custom domain, and email. Bring your own AI key to use AI on it.
- What's a guest, and are they free?
- A guest is a collaborator you invite to specific apps only — they can't see the rest of your org. Guests are free and don't use a paid seat. You can add up to twice your number of paid seats as guests.
- How do team seats work?
- Team plans include a number of seats in the base price (3 on Basic, 5 on Premium). Additional members are billed per seat and adjust automatically, prorated, when you add or remove people. Guests never count as seats.
- What if I hit a limit but don't want a whole new tier?
- You don't have to jump tiers. Add apps with a slider (each extra app is a small flat monthly fee), and requests/storage above an app's included allowance are simply metered — $0.50 per extra 1M requests, $0.05 per extra GB. Changes are prorated and effective immediately on any paid plan.
- Will my app go offline if it gets a traffic spike?
- Not on a paid plan. Your app stays online and the extra requests are metered onto your invoice. If you'd rather cap your exposure, set an optional monthly spend cap and we'll pause at that ceiling. (Free apps pause over their allowance until traffic drops.)
- Can I use my own AI provider?
- Yes. Set your own OpenAI or Anthropic key on an app and those calls bill to your provider account directly — they cost zero Cloudrizz AI credits. Or use managed credits with nothing to configure.
- Do preview deploys count against my limit?
- No. Preview and branch deploys are free and unlimited for practical purposes — only production deploys count toward your monthly allowance.
- Do AI credit top-ups expire?
- No. Your included monthly credits refresh each month, but credits you purchase as a top-up stack on top and never expire.
